Service Learning with my friends my experience and my group when observing the river. when me and my friends visited the river, it could be seen from afar a lot of garbage on the banks of the river was piling up. when I want to dive in to observe, and take photos, the smell is so bad that I want to throw up. because there is a lot of garbage such as diapers and plastic food scraps. This may be natural for us whose countries are still developing. Even the river feels ingrained with garbage. I even thought "Rivers in Indonesia always have baby diaper waste, is this a characteristic of rivers in Indonesia?". If you think about it, every river in Indonesia must have baby diaper waste. after we made observations to the river. we immediately reported to one of the village officials. and now it has been cleaned even though there are still many people who throw baby diapers and sanitary napkins in the river.
